To Tell You the Tooth...

Somebody has been a drool bucket for the last two months, gnawing on all his toys and clamping down on my fingers when I check his gums.  So it's no surprise that Jason finally got his first tooth!  It's been on the verge of eruption for the last week, and we finally saw the little sliver of white in his mouth.  And I was actually able to capture it in pictures!

Em & Jay's First Time @ Busch Gardens 2013

In the past, we've been getting season passes to Kings Dominion because it's only an hour away.  But after two years of passes, the kids were getting bored with the same old rides and Timmy and I both share a love of Busch Gardens (me, because I grew up so close that it's the only amusement park I went to growing up, and Timmy because he loves how much nicer the place is than KD).  You could say that BG caters to a much more uppity clientele, and I appreciate this.  Feel free to woo me with neatly arranged flower beds and piped in Italian music.  But I digress.
Caroline told her friend Lauren about us going, and LoLo (as Emmy calls her) was promptly invited, bought a season pass too, and had a sleepover in preparation for our early departure this morning.  That's LoLo in the pic above, taking Emily on her very first ride (Loch Ness Monster in Sesame Place).  I had a feeling that Em would love the rides (and we would really be up the creek if she didn't) and luckily, I was right!  She rode EVERYTHING that she met the height requirement for.  I'll let the pictures do the talking:
Garrett had to get in on the action in Sesame Place too!

Look at little Emmy on the big ride with Daddy!

All I could see was feet and a head!

Jason was a picture perfect baby, even napping in his stroller for part of the afternoon!

Emmy tried out the smaller set of swings!

Emmy was unsure of these giant Clydesdale horses, but they were beautiful!

Happy Jay and Daddy!

Emmy got to ride horses too!

Still a little pink from the day before, but at least he kept his sun hat on!

Take Me Out to the Ball Game

Buy me some bananas and applesauce.....(no Cracker Jacks for this group--Emmy doesn't need the sugar and Jason is working with only one tooth).  We headed out to Garrett's baseball game this afternoon for some fun in the sun.  Literally.  Because by the time we left the park four hours later, most of us were sunburned.  We had to be there at 11:30, so right after Jason woke up from his AM nap, we headed out.  So Jay needed lunch in his stroller (above and below).

Caroline was an excellent puppy sitter.

Jay was styling in his stroller for most of the afternoon (when he wasn't napping on Mommy for getting carted around by Daddy).

Behold, it is the Turtle Face.  It's this adorable face that Emmy used to make and we have dubbed it the "Turtle Face".

More turtle face for ya!

Someone stole Daddy's sunglasses.

Did I mention the one tooth?  Someone is a drool mess.

I am IN LOVE with that chubby face!

Up to bat!

Jay when he woke up from his nap.  This also happened to be around the time that a bunch of red heads started realizing that everyone in their group was awfully pink....Jay has a very pink face now!  And Mommy is a burned mess, too.
