Jason Turns 6!

Our birthday boy celebrated his big birthday on Oct. 17th!  He got all sorts of fun presents:  giant stuffed Owl and a bow with arrows from us; bug hunting set from Carrie; socks and pjs from Cammy; art set from Caroline, and Pokemon stuff from Garrett.  Emily gave him a set of Hatchimal eggs and they had a blast breaking them all apart!

Opening presents!  A garbage bag was the only "wrapping" I had for a giant stuffed animal he wanted  :)

SO happy!

Geet got him a special coin!

Creepy Crawly Carnival at the YMCA last weekend!  We did games, got candy, and enjoyed a hay ride!

Jason the Soccer Star

We signed up Jason for his first season of soccer and he took to it like a fish to water!  His team's coach, Ben, was awesome--seriously, the most amazing volunteer coach I've ever had in Parks and Rec.  We had about 10 games and we were either "blue" or "watermelon" (who picks these colors?!).  Jason kept track of all of his goals this season and ended up at 35!  They don't keep official score at this level--U6--but believe me, the kids always know which team won!  Now that we know he likes it so much, it will be hard to do baseball in the spring but we can always do soccer camp this summer (gotta love the perks of a mom who doesn't work June-Aug)!

They had one night game at the high school and kids thought the artificial turf was the most amazing stuff!
