Pretty People @ Prom!

 Prom showed up early this year!  It was scheduled for April 5th, and with spring break around the corner and the end of the school year only 5 weeks away, it didn't really register on my radar.  That is, until Caroline asked for a shopping trip to find a dress and shoes!  We found this adorable little number in a sad corner of JC Penney and it was on sale!  (Still wasn't cheap, but looked great).  It's a beautiful deep gray color and has silver/goldish embroidery of flowers and vines all over the top part.  It has a little bit of a sheer corset part to the middle, which I much preferred to the "two piece/show off my belly" sets that I saw all over the mall.  Caroline finished off the dress with silver strappy high heels from DSW and borrowed the necklace that I wore in my wedding 10 years ago! 
Garrett attended his THIRD prom with Abby and he reports that it's just not as much fun to go to prom once you get out of high school  :)  He still had a decent time and I think he enjoys getting all pretty every once in a while.
