The whole gang loaded up in the Kia and headed to Crofton, MD, for cousin Brooklyn's second birthday party last weekend. It was a Minnie Mouse theme, so of course we bought her....a Dream lite. Not because it matched her theme (it didn't--we bought the butterfly one) but because Brooklyn thought that Emily's Dream lite was cool and Aunt Mary thought she might enjoy one. I also crocheted her a winter hat--blue with a white pom pom, white trim ,and embroidered snowflakes (which everyone thought were stars, but that's ok).
The Minnie Mouse cookie cutter was put to good use! We ate ear-shaped cheese, ham, and even rice Krispy treats.

Grandma Peggy was nice enough to send a present for Emily in addition to her presents for Brooklyn.
Make a wish.....for some snow days this year! (OK, maybe that was my wish, but I'm sure Brooklyn would like to stay home a few days too!)
