Emily: 23 Months

 It's a few days early, but something tells me we might be a little busy this week :)  So here are some updates on Emily!  She almost two-going on twelve-going on 22.  She says "thank you mommy" and "thank you daddy" for everything.  Doesn't matter if we're filling a juice cup or handing her a toothbrush or helping her with her car seat.  We were at the doctor's office on Friday afternoon to get the last of her shots before her 2nd year old visit, so here are some stats:
Height: no clue.  they didn't do this one.  but she's visibly taller.
Weight:  26 pounds on the nose.  She lost a couple pounds with the croup last week.

Emily likes:  Sissy and Geet and all of their attention; reading books to herself; doing her puzzles; seeing her friends at school; her new Elmo Halloween shirt; anything with monkeys on it; bows (but not in her hair); drinking out of cups with straws; footie pajamas; Taggie blankey and stuffed bear; being outside; checking on the mail; mostly everything!
Emily dislikes:  pumpkin flavored stuff (how is this my child??); getting shots; being disciplined; the bath (after she got the shots); being sick; when Mommy or Daddy leaves the house without her
