Cookie Monsters

 Being home for the summer is a ball of fun....for about 3 days.  Then you realize that you are either going to run out of things to do or money or both if you pack your summer vacation full of exciting trips and activities. So we decided to spend the afternoon last Thursday just doing a basic activity:  baking cookies.  I bought sugar cookie mix, baked them up, then let Caroline and Emily frost and decorate them.  Emily is a big believer in "more is more" in terms of sprinkles.  Each cookie came out weighing around 2 pounds!  And my kitchen floor felt like a beach with all the colored sugar covering the floor! 
Garrett and Caroline are leaving tomorrow (Sunday) for a week at camp, so Emily, Jason, and I will be racking our brains on what to do to fill our days.  I see a lot of mall walking (they have an inside playground), Starbucks (for me), and pool time in our future.  And maybe some more cookies :)
