Jason: 9 Months Old

Jason is quite the mover and shaker these days!  He's been home with me for about a month (since school let out) and I've kept him on his routine.  I didn't want to split him up from his babysitter Ms. Margaret for the whole summer, so Jay and Emily visit her for a few hours about twice a week.  That way, I get a chance to run errands without all these little people underfoot!  I've decided to keep Jay with Ms. Margaret this upcoming school year because he's developed such a close bond with her (I had previously had him scheduled to start at Emily's preschool in August).  Jason is a sensitive baby who likes the one on one attention, and I think he might be overwhelmed and lost in the shuffle at a big daycare.
He's up around 7 AM, goes down for a nap 9:30-11 AM, another nap (sometimes) in the afternoon from 2-3 PM and in bed like clockwork at 6:15-6:30 AM.  He is consistently sleeping a straight 12 hours + at night with almost no nighttime wake ups.  When his teeth are hurting him, he sometimes wakes up once during the night, but he's really the best sleeper ever!
Foodwise, he's basically doing the same.  Lots of fruits and veggies for breakfast and lunch, and we've been hot and heavy into the protein (apples and chicken, turkey and rice) for dinner.  Jason also likes baby yogurt with his lunch.  We're buying our weight in wagon wheels and puffs, but I think he likes teething on those wheels and they give him something to munch on when I'm getting his food together.  Jason is using a sippy cup at every meal with some watered down juice or water.  He gets a bottle of formula before his two naps and one before bed.
Jason has become super mobile in the last couple of weeks!  He has advanced to a commando crawl that gets him across the house in 5 minutes flat.  I used to be able to leave him in the family room while I went to the kitchen, and he would be there when I got back.  Not anymore!  Now he takes off, exploring the whole house (including dog water and food bowls).
And Jason can stand!  He's pulling himself up into a standing position and can keep his balance for a few minutes.
Jay's #s:  We don't do height and weight until tomorrow's well baby visit.  He's wearing size 4 diaper, has 4 teeth, and size 12-18 month clothes.
Look who has the month sticker now....
