A Few of Her Favorite Things

 Emily received many amazing presents for her birthday and is excited to play with everything when she gets home from school.  She has used her lacing beads to make necklaces with Tim, worn new outfits all week, and read all of her new books.  She likes to ask us to open Jason's presents because "Jason is going to share this with me".  As if the poor boy had a choice!
Her favorite presents are probably her Barbie Jeep and her Minnie Mouse raincoat and umbrella.  I think that she thoroughly enjoys how forbidden it is to open an umbrella inside.  She does it constantly now.  We took her Barbie Jeep to Grandma's house with her 3 acres of wide open grassy yard.  Emily came home knowing how to shift from high to low gear and how to reverse!
