Momma Drinks: 26 Weeks

Hi all!  Baby Boy Drinks here to tell you that I am one big fella.  Momma went to her doctor's appointment yesterday where she was told her belly measurements were big (almost 2 weeks ahead), her weight was low (lost 3 pounds since last appointment for a total gain of.....3 pounds), and her fasting numbers sucked.  So we're good to go til our growth scan on July 31st and our next appointment is in 3 weeks (Aug. 3).  Insulin and needles are now official members of our household--gotta do one shot each night of 10 units before bed.  Had a slight freak out about doing the shots again....just couldn't remember if it hurt or not!  And nobody likes an audience, so Daddy was promptly thrown out of the room until the injection was complete. (FYI--injection is subcutaneous--under the skin--and not nearly as bad as once remembered). 
Aunt Kiwi is coming to visit in a month and is planning an awesome "baby celebration" lunch while she is here!  Doesn't matter if this is baby #4 or #40....everyone likes to be celebrated :)  It should be a great time of catching up with friends and family who Carrie doesn't get to see very often.  


STATS:
Weight:  down 3 pounds.  Total gain in 26 weeks:  3 pounds
Blood pressure:  126/73
Baby's heart rate:  130's (that's the "official" rate the nurse told me)
Next appointment:  July 31at @ 8 am @ perinatology for growth scan; Aug. 3rd @ 9 am for regular appt with Dr. E
